Our process starts with an in-home consultation, where we spend dedicated time with you in your space. This is the most important first step, and for good reason we want to understand not just what your home looks like, but how you actually live in it.
We start with a full tour of your space, listening carefully to how you want each room to feel and function. We believe spaces are deeply personal, so we ask the right questions, explore possibilities, and work to get a clear picture of your design style, whether that is already well defined or something we discover together.
Many clients come to us with a blank canvas and an open mind. Others arrive with a treasured piece of art, a beloved furniture item, or a specific vision they want to build around. Either way, we want to know every detail upfront, the more we understand, the better we can serve you.
We have an extensive image library, carefully curated and organised across a wide range of design styles. Together, we look through these images to conduct a style analysis, a process that helps us understand what draws you in, what you love, and what feels like home to you.
We pay attention to the colours, textures, layouts, and elements that excite you, and we use all of that to build a complete design profile tailored entirely to your taste. We invite you to be as open and honest as possible there are no wrong answers, only valuable ones.
With a clear sense of your style and vision, we then move through each room you would like us to work on. Together, we build a detailed wishlist of every item the space will need; furniture, lighting, finishes, accessories, and more. This helps us identify the right budget to work with for each area.
This is also a time for open conversation. You are free to ask us anything about design, and we will be actively observing each space with fresh eyes offering suggestions as they come to mind. It might be:

Once we leave your space, you will receive a detailed follow-up email summarising everything we discussed during the consultation. This includes a curated overview of the design direction, a breakdown of the items we recommend for each space, and an estimated budget for the project products.
From there, we establish a project timeline and it is the scope and timeline of your project that determines our design fee going forward.
